Noble Canyon

A few of us got together and rode Nobel Canyon today. It was a sick ride…we shuttled AGAIN, you can all make fun of us. There are some really fun fast lines on the trail these days. The sandy climb was pretty soft today but the next whoop section makes it all worthwhile.

Has anyone taken the left right before last section? Where does it go? It looks like the entrance to a luge or tobagon run…

Aliso-Woods Canyon: Southern California

Has anyone ever ridden up by Laguna Beach? Everytime I take the toll road to cut out the 405 I see beautiful mountains zig zagged with trails to my left. Anyone ridden there or have some insight for me.

I saw some info on Aliso Woods Canyon, but I don’t think it is the same spt, but still looks like a neat ride.

Anyone?

Trail Work Opportunity - Noble Canyon

Right now we are fighting for access to Flightline…but we can’t neglect other gems we have in Southern California.

There is a volunteer trailwork opportunity at Noble Canyon this weekend at 8:00am. Check out the San Diego Mountain Bike Association Website for the calendar of events to help out.

Noble Canyon Ride

I am going to get a few friends together to ride Noble Canyon this weekend…post here if you are up for a ride.

Mountain Biking Is Not A Crime

Who’s riding where?

As tough as it is not to ride flightline…i really want to get out there. I have been riding locally in Oceanside/Carlsbad. Noble Canyon in the rain last week and trying to figure out some new spots that I can hit up after work…i only have about 1.5 hours of light when I get home to carlsbad….any suggestions?

Respect the temporary closure

As much as we all would like to ride the trails, we need to approach this in a civil manor if we hope to change the current situation…this means showing the powers that be that we are organized, respectful, and represent a demographic that not only respects authority, but knows that by taking the proper measures we know how to influence those who make decisions about our trails.

So please respect the closure. We can make it temporary.

Fight for your trails

The time is now! If you want continue to enjoy trails like flightline we have to organize and let the County know that we the community value the perservation of places like flightline.

I am a flightline rookie who was turned onto the trails by other friends. While everyone wants to keep little secret spots for themselves, the time to make this public is now. Unfortunately it will become more crowded, but better crowded with people enjoying the beauty of the outdoors than closed down. If you’ve been riding for years, we need your voice!
