Turkey Rider

I hope everyone enjoyed their thanksgiving…and enjoyed riding off all that stuffing and gravy afterwards. Check out the Illuminating Mountain Bike shining on my turkey!I took this picture while frying a turkey to show how to improvise while cooking outside once the sun goes down. This thing was good…

Did anyone get out of town with their bike over Thanksgiving? Where did you ride?

Your IMB looks great for night riding…
I went 4 days in Arizona for Thanksgiving, I rode everyday, 2 days in Sedona, 1 in Flagstaff (Mt Elden) and 1 in Phoenix (cactus cup and South Mountain).
I really felt how stupid is the Flighline situation. How these places have plenty of challenging legal trails opened to everybody.(I meant really challenging, in comparaison Skyline or even Noble Canyon looked like a Kindergarten).

Sedona is a beautiful place! I have hiked out there but haven’t ridden yet. Hmm…if I can drag myself away from the ocean and surfing for a couple of days…it’s pretty close to San Diego.

Glad to hear you had a good time!

Jerome you are so right. Last year I was in Arizona and rode Tucson, Phoenix, and Sedona. Phoenix is the butt of our jokes but they have access to hiking and riding not only within the city but surrounding it also. They have out of control growth like we do but they have world class mtn biking right there. Places like South Mountain are like Noble and you don’t have to drive to the mtns. Tucson also has mtn biking trails galore. Look at some of the places the guy from IMBA showed us under “trail work”. This place is weak.
