San Juan trail in the OC
So, one of my buddies, (the one that sold me rad bike) told me that now that I have been hitting up Noble regularly and was riding FlightLine before this fight to save the trails began, that I need to go ride the San Juan Trail in Orange County. Maybe we should organize a bit of a ride for this weekend.
Does anyone have any advice, input or strategy for the San Juan trail? If any of you have ridden it before and you are interested in leading a ride, we should organize a group.
Post here if you are into it!

San Juan trail is one of my favorites. I would like to ride up there maybe this Friday morning. I’ll talk to a couple of buddies see if they’re interested.

Saturday or friday. But you have to start early so you don’t get the shuttlers. Oops you are intending to go both ways right?

411:
Exit I-5 at Ortega Highway (74). Head east about 12.5 miles.
Just before the Ranger station, turn left down a dirt road.
Head through the canyon about one mile and park when you get to the grove of trees. You will see the trailhead to the right.
If you shuttle (Oh the horrors) then continue up the 74 to Blue Jay Campground - turn left head up the very steep hill and park at the top.
Trail is 11 miles long. Not as technical as Noble, but still very fun.
