Timing of Elections could be a good influence on Progress
The most urgent items are;
1) to get the Conservation Easement (CE) ammended to allow bikes on the portion of property where Skyline and Safety Center trails are
and
2) halt the destruction of the Skyline Trail until a Trail Assessement and Trail Plan have been determined.
SDMBA is actively working on the task of finding out of how […]

IMBA input for FlightLine
As requested at the meeting, I have asked for local IMBA input. Other than experience and advice, IMBA probably can not lend resources.
From what I gathered at the meeting, the most important issue is that the trail users want input on the trail designations and design.

However, the current situation is looking particularly grim.
I was at the meeting last Thursday and there was much talk about
getting the dismantling […]

Petition Update
I added some copy to the “Save FlightLine” petition this morning per the suggestion of Peter Cooper. I swear, it was on our list of things to do, but after I overrode the scripts last week to take names and addresses for the petition, it has been a little crazy.
We all need to thank Jerome […]

Progress takes effort
For those that showed up to the meeting tonight we appreciate your support and need your help. For those who couldn’t make it we ask for your assistance. First things first, we need legal assistance in filing an injunction to stop the trails from being torn down. Demolition is scheduled to start in only a […]
