Meeting This Friday
Everyone;
The meeting this Friday is not a public meeting. We don’t need everyone for this one, but we will need everyone for a meeting coming up towards the end of January that is a public meeting. I will keep you in the loop about the results of this Fridays Carlsbad meeting and will let you know when we need a “CALL TO ARMS!!!” at the public meeting.
Donations: We appreciate the overwhelming response and offers of donations, but at this time we are not accepting donations, but if we ever get to that point, we’ll let you know in the newsletter and on the site.

I would really like to see the county/city of Carlsbad open a clear line of communication with its’ citizens about public use topics. We pay a lot of taxes to live here and need to have recreational areas where we can bring our children to enjoy the beautiful outdoors that don’t require admission at the door.
The commercial developments and giant track home communities are slowly eating up the land where we can teach our children the responsibilities of how to respect nature and we have to maintain the land and limit our environmental impact upon it.
To everyone fighting for this cause, thank you from a Carlsbad outdoors enthusiast!

I am hanging in there, but I am getting very restless. I want to ride Flightline! Yes there are other trails, but this one is so close to me and is one of the best around.
