I called Turko; Did you?

I referenced this eMail Ryan sent to the North County Times.

_

There is a small land node in the city of Carlsbad which has been used by local residents for the past 10 to 20 years for hiking, running and cycling. Although the land node in question is set aside as an open space preserve, the County of San Diego has recently closed the area off to all users and, through their land management company, has communicated their intentions to remove the existing trail network that was painstakingly built and maintained by the areas users. Please visit www.rideflightline.com for some general information on the topic. If you think that the story may be newsworthy, please contact myself or representatives from the RideFlightline website so that we could discuss the issue further.

To contact Michael Turko, please call (858) 571-FILE, or (858) 571-3453. This is the best way to get your case featured on KUSI’s Turko Files.
_
Listen to the directions and leave a message anytime, day or night. Your call will be transcribed and forwarded to Turko for his personal review.

_

Turko regrets that he can no longer accept email messages about potential stories. The volume of messages in the past and the volume of information sent was simply overwhelming. (However, if he does take your case, Turko may give you an email address to send documents or photos.)

_

Once again, the very best way to get your case featured on KUSI’s Turko Files is with a simple phone call to (858) 571-3453. MAKE THE CALL!
